Scores of gun shots created panic in Srinagar’s Zakura area on late Friday evening. However, police said “all is ok”.
Local sources from Zakura told Kashmir Life that scores of gun shots were heard this evening.
“We were sitting in our home when suddenly we heard gunshots,” a local from the area said. “The firing is going on, intermittently.”
When contacted, a cop from Police station Zakura said, “we are alert but everything is alright.”
The cop said that they too heard the gunshots but are “in the process of getting details”.
However, PRO CRPF told Kashmir Life, “troops who were deployed for law and order have come under fire.”
“We are getting details,” he added.
