The District Development Commissioner, Anantnag, Khalid Jahangir today visited Dooru Sub Division to take stock of the snow clearance and availability of essentials.
The DDC was informed that all the roads have been cleared of snow, besides connectivity has been restored by the concerned department in the entire Dooru Sub Division. The DDC was informed that the healthcare facilities are being provided round the clock.
Superintending Engineer, PDD apprised the DDC that power supply has been restored to the entire Sub Division. The DDC stressed for ensuring 100 per cent attendance of the employees to ease out the public during the harsh winter.
The DDC visited SDH Dooru and PHCs of Verinag and Larikipora and interacted with the patients and attendants.
The DDC directed the concerned to ensure the availability of doctors and paramedical staff round the clock, maintaining of duty roster, attendance, cleanliness, proper heating arrangements, displaying of the information regarding various centrally sponsored schemes, free medicine and other relevant information.
The DDC further directed for maintaining of records for various kinds of tests, institutional deliveries, referrals and conduct of VHNDs regularly.
The DDC also met public delegations at various places of the Dooru Sub Division. The DDC assured quick redressal of public grievances.
SE PDD, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Anantnag, Executive Engineer, Mechanical Engineering Division Anantnag, AEEs of R&B, PHE and PMGSY, BMOs of Dooru & Verinag and other officers accompanied the DDC.
