The District Development Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr. Farooq Ahmed Lone, Tuesday convened an officers meeting to review physical and financial progress of Health Sector in Srinagar district.
The meeting was attended by the officers of Health and other concerned departments and it was informed that funds to the tune of Rs 2 Crore released till ending December, 2015 have been expended in full.
The District Development Commissioner directed speedy completion of works on various health institutions in District Srinagar, including Family Health Centre Batamaloo, NTPC Noorbagh and PHC Lal Bazaar. He asked the executing agencies to speed up work and complete all projects in time bound manner so that healthcare facilities are provided to the people. He also instructed the concerned for making adequate staff available at PHC Maharaj-Gunj, preparing DPR for reconstruction of PHC Maharaj-Gunj within a month.
