In Connection with Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) process, the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmed Lone on Friday chaired a meeting to review the arrangements being put in place for anti Polio drive scheduled to be held on January 29.

During the meeting it was given out that as many as 630 Pulse Polio booths have been setup in different areas across Srinagar and vaccines and other related material has already been dispatched, while asaround 2500 workers and 126 supervisors shall be deployed on duty for achievement of 100 percent target.

On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner directed for making coordinated efforts to ensure all children upto the age of 5 years are covered under the process.

Among others, the meeting was attended by CMO, Srinagar, Medical Officers, ASHA coordinators and other concerned.
