District Development Commissioner Srinagar, DrFarooq Ahmad Lone, Wednesday convened a meeting to review infrastructural requirements of various Government Degree Colleges of the district.
Principals of Amar Singh College, S P College, Womens College M A Road, Womens College Nawakadal, Degree College Bemina, Degree College Bagh-i-Dilawar Khan participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on up-grading infrastructure of the Colleges for providing better academic and extra-curricular facilities to the students.
The DDC directed the concerned executing agencies to prepare estimates for the identified works in these Colleges and said that Rs 25 lakh shall be released to the executing agencies for carrying out the required works during the current fiscal.
