District Development Commissioner Srinagar, Dr Farooq Ahmad Lone, today convened a meeting to review implementation of Chief Minister’s directions which she made during her Srinagar visits.
District/Sectoral officers of R&B, SMC, PHE, I&FC, LAWDA, SDA, Technical Education, Tourism, Floriculture, Muslim Wakf Board, JKPCC, Principals of Polytechnic Colleges, Officials of Sports Council and other concerned attended the meeting.
The meeting was informed that out of a total of 200 directions related to the areas of Jamia Masjid, Nowhatta, Idgah, Hazratbal, Bemina Char-Chinari, Gani Memorial Stadium, Radpora, Chattabal Veer, Zadibal, Zerro Bridge, Bakshi Stadium, Indoor Stadium, Khankahi Moula, Sangermal Complex, Sheikh Bagh, Flyover and Press enclave, about 117 commitments have already been implemented and 86 are currently under implementation.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to expedite work on under-implementation works to ensure their time bound completion.
He directed the officers to keep their men and machine ready for speedy disposal of CM’s directions and asked the Sectoral and District Officers to furnish action taken report on monthly basis.
