SRINAGAR: Dearness Allowance (DA) of government employees, pensioners and family pensioners who are still drawing pays as well as pension as per the Sixth Pay Commission, was increased by the Finance Department on June 7, 2023.
The allowance has been increased from the existing rate which is 212 percent, to 221 percent of the basic pay, pension and family pension.
The increase in DA will be effective from January 1, 2023.
