MLA Langate Er Rashid while offering his deep condolence over the demise of 19 years old Zahid Ahmad Bhat at Safderjung Hospital Sunday asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to “open his eyes and see what the hell is going on all around”.

Talking to media persons at Safderjung Hospital in New Delhi along with relatives of deceased Zahid, Rashid appealed civil society and conscience loving citizens of India to rise to the occasion and side line the radical fascist forces who are proving a serious threat to humanity.

According to a party statement, “Rashid asked Narendra Modi to apologise the families of Zahid who was killed for none of his fault and also sought compensation on Dadri pattern for Zahid as there is complete resemblance in both the incidents leading to death of Ikhlaq in Dadri and that of Zahid at Safderjung Hospital.”

Rashid demanded arrest of the “kingpin Parlad Singh” who happens to be the ex-councillor also. “Rashid warned government of dire consequences if State administration doesn’t show seriousness to catch the kingpin.”

He also condemned Sakhshi Mahraj for justifying the attack on him in the J&K assembly and added, “Prime Minister should not play with the words and he has to be responsible for the criminal acts of his party as right wing Hindu forces have been rightly reminding him about his role in Godhra.”

“There seems to be a race of humiliating and attacking Muslims between various radical forces who have been getting full patronage from Narendra Modi in the past and only way to get situation back to normalcy is that Prime Minister should tender apology for his dirty role in communal rights in the Past,” Rashid said the statement.

The statement said that Rashid reaffirmed that whole of Kashmir feels the shock of death of Zahid Ahmad.

“Later, Rashid accompanied the dead body of Zahid to Delhi airport along with the family members of the deceased,” the Awami Itehad Party statement informed.
