SRINAGAR: A decomposed body was discovered in the Veshu Nalla near the Khudwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
An official said that passersby spotted the body floating in the Nalla and immediately alerted the police. He said that a police team reached the location promptly and shifted the body to a nearby health facility for medico-legal formalities.
The official added that the body has been placed in a mortuary pending identification, while further investigation into the matter is underway. (NVI)
