Delhi Blast Case: Ninth Accused Taken to Forest Area During NIA Searches

   

SRINAGAR: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Friday carried out a raid in the Padpawan area of Shopian district in connection with the Delhi blast case.

Official sources said that the ninth accused in the case, identified as Yasir Dar, was taken by the NIA to a nearby forest area to assist in search operations.

The searches, they said, are part of the ongoing investigation into the case.

Sources added that multiple teams are conducting searches at locations in and around Padpawan, and further details are awaited.

Yasir Dar was arrested on December 18, 2025, by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in connection with the Delhi bomb blast case.

The NIA had stated that Yasir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Shopian in Jammu and Kashmir, is the ninth accused arrested in the case.

He was apprehended by an NIA team from Delhi and was on Friday brought to Jammu and Kashmir’s Shopian for further investigation. (KNC)
