Delhi police arrest Hizb operative for his alleged role in killing of Kashmir police officer

The Delhi Police special cell have arrested a Hizb operative identified as  Ansar ul Haq for his alleged role in killing of Jammu and Kashmir Police sub inspector Imtiaz Ahmed Mir in October.

Jammu and Kashmir Police sub inspector Imtiaz Ahmed Mir, Mir was killed in October this year.

According to a report by news gatherer ANI, “Ansar asked his female friend to ask Imtiaz for a lift, who then tipped off Hizb militants”.

Imtiaz Ahmed Mir, a sub-inspector with Jammu and Kashmir Police was killed on 28 October, and his body was later found in Pulwama. Mir reportedly had set out to visit his family in Pulwama.  He was posted in the CID Department of the state police.
