SRINAGAR: The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi will relieve three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers of the AGMUT cadre from their current assignments from the afternoon of July 31 to enable them to take up new postings, including Mamta Yadav’s transfer to Jammu and Kashmir.
The Services Department, Services-I Branch, issued the order in compliance with a Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) transfer order dated July 9, 2026.
Mamta Yadav, an IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre from the 2021 batch, is currently serving as Deputy Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). She has been transferred to Jammu and Kashmir.
Rishita Gupta, an IAS officer of the 2019 AGMUT batch and Deputy Commissioner in the MCD, has been transferred to Arunachal Pradesh, while Wairokpam Punshiba Singh, an IAS officer of the 2022 AGMUT batch, has been posted to Lakshadweep.
The order was issued by Deputy Secretary (Services) Jitendra Kumar Arora and directs the officers to be relieved to facilitate their joining at their respective new places of posting.
