Delhi using institutions to intimidate resistance leaders: JKDFP


Strongly condemning the summoning of Unjan-e-Shar-e-Shian chief, resistance and veteran religious leader, Agha Syed Hassan Almoosvi Alsafavi by NIA, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has said that New Delhi is using its institutions to harass and intimidate the resistance leadership.

The JKDFP Spokesperson said in a statement that India jailed senior resistance leader and Freedom Party chairman, Shabir Shah by using ED and it is continuously trying to intimidate others like Agha Syed Hassan Almoosvi Alsafavi.

The Spokesperson said that using institutions against political opponents is the worst kind of state “terrorism”. Our beloved leader Shabir Shah is continuously facing it and now New Delhi is trying to threaten Agha Syed Hassan.

The Spokesperson also condemned the killing of a mentally disabled person at the hands of the army in Shopian.

JKDFP Spokesperson expressed shock over the killing of a civilian youth Shahid Ahmad Mir by government forces in Shopian under the garb of a gunfight. He said that civilian killings at the hands of government forces have become a routine and people are feeling unsafe even in their own areas. He also paid tributes to Shaheed Irfan Ahmad, killed in Khudpora Shopian and said that our youngsters are sacrificing their lives for our future so it is our collective responsibility to safeguard their great sacrifices so that the struggle is taken to logical conclusion.
