Dukhtaran-i-Millat chairperson, Aasiyeh Andrabi, Thursday in a meeting with Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairperson, Mohammad Yasin Malik said it supports a joint struggle against the “present Indian onslaught” on the Muslim character and all the efforts aimed at changing the “demography” of Jammu and Kashmir, a spokesperson of the DeM said.
“During the meeting, the leaders expressed apprehensions that if everyone doesn’t stand up against the present Indian onslaught, then JK will soon witness complete destruction,” the spokesperson said.
She said the leaders deliberated that the seriousness of these issues demand a unanimous struggle from the “pro-resistance” camp.
“The leaders said that the proposals like the establishment of Sainik colonies, the Industrial policy or separate homeland for the Pandits, only indicate that India has begun a final war in JK and wants to occupy this land forever. So it was felt that there was an immediate need for a joint resistance to counter these conspiracies,” she said.
The spokesperson said the leaders were of the view that the ongoing “Indian offensive” can’t be countered separately. “It was decided that a unanimous movement has to be launched against all these sinister moves so that India fails in implementing its evil designs,” she added.
She said that the situation will become clearer in the coming days and accordingly a joint strategy against all these “sinister moves” will be framed.
