Srinagar: Demanding regularisation, scores of National Health Mission employees on Wednesday held a protest in press enclave under the banner of National mission Kashmir (NHM).

The protester’s employees were demanding that they should be regularized as they were promised by the Finance Minister Haseeb A Drabu.

They said that the future of thousands of NHM employees viz Doctors, Paramedics and Management has been still hanging in balance despite the fact that they have put numerous years of their lives in the service of the health department.

EJAC Vice-President Farooq Ahmad, who was also present in the protest, said that the NHM employees should be regularised.

“Other states have also taken measures to regularise the NHM employees and said that the government should come clear regarding the regularization within fifteen days, and if not, the NHM employees will go on protest and responsibility will lie solely on government.”

He added that the NHM employees will also hold a protest demonstration in Jammu in coming days, and claimed that the NHM employees have the full support of all the J&K employees.
