Various organizations and leaders have condoled the demise of father of Kashmir News Service (KNS) editor-in-chief Muhammad Aslam Bhat.

The father of Kashmir News Service (KNS) editor-in-chief,  Haji Muhammad Subhan Bhat passed away Tuesday evening at his home at Shelhal village of Handwara in Kupwara district. He was 78.

Former chief minister Omar Abdullah condoled the demise. “Very sorry to hear about the death of Muhammad Subhan Bhat, father of @KNSKashmir chief M Aslam. My condolences to Aslam & his family. Allah Subhan Bhat Sahib ko Jannat naseeb karen,” Omar tweeted.

PDP president and former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti also condoled the demise. “Condolences to @KNSKashmir Chief Muhammad Aslam Bhat on the sad demise of his father Haji Muhammad Subhan Bhat. He was a pious soul. May Almighty bless his soul and give strength to the family to bear this loss Rest in peace!,” Mehbooba tweeted.

Former Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha,, Ghulam Azad has condoled the demise.

In a condolence message, Azad has extended his heart-felt sympathies to Aslam and other members of the bereaved family over the irreparable loss.

Among others, Senior Congress Leaders including Ghulam Mohammad Saroori, Mohammed Sharief Niaz, Abdul Majid Wani, Vikar Rasool Wani, Naresh Kumar, Sham Lal Bhagat, Ashok Kumar and others have also condoles the demise of Mohammad Subhan Bhat.

The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has also condoled the passing away of Haji Mohd Subhan Bhat father of KNS head Mohd Aslam Bhat and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family.

In a condolence message, JKPCC President G.A. Mir has expressed profound grief over the passing away of Haji Mohd Subhan Bhat and conveyed his deepest condolences Mohd Aslam Bhat and other members of the bereaved family.

He described the deceased as a noble soul and prayed for his eternal peace.

Expressing solidarity with the KNS Head G.A. Mir also sympathized with the bereaved family and prayed for their courage to bear this irreparable loss.

The rank and file of the JKPCC also conveyed their deepest condolences to KNS and prayed for eternal peace to Late Haji Mohd Subhan Bhat.

Kashmir Press Club (KPC) also condoled the demise. “We express condolences with Muhammad Aslam Bhat Editor-in-Chief of KNS on the demise of his father,” the management committee of the KPC said in a statement praying for peace to the departed soul.

Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, has condoled the demise. In a message, the Advisor has extended his heartfelt sympathies to Aslam and other members of the bereaved family over the irreparable loss.

Secretary Information, Sarmad Hafeez has condoled the demise. In his condolence message, Hafeez while extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family has prayed for peace to the departed soul.

Meanwhile, Director Information, Tariq Ahmad Zargar has also offered his condolences to Muhammad

Joint Director Information Kashmir, Muhammad Ashraf Hakak today expressed grief over the demise.

While extending condolences to the bereaved family, Hakak prayed for peace to the soul of departed and strength to the grief-stricken family.

Chairman Hurriyat conference (g) Syed Ali Geelani has condoled the demise and said that we share the grief with bereaved family and pray for eternal peace of deceased and courage for the family to bear this painful loss.

Chairman Jammu Kashmir liberation front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of Haji Muhammad Subhan Bhat.

Terming his demise as a personal loss, JKLF chairman said that deceased was a humble person whose departure has saddened us all.

While praying for the heavenly abode of the deceased, JKLF chairman also prayed for the Sabr-i-Jamil of his bereaved family.

JKLF chairman called editor KNS on phone and expressed condolences to him. JKLF is expressing its grief and sorrow over the demise of Haji sahib and our heartfelt condolences to Muhammad Aslam Bhat and other members of the bereaved family.

Tehreek-e-Hurriyat Chairman Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise. Sehrai extended his deepest condolence to the bereaved family and expressed solidarity and sympathy with Chief Editor Muhammad Aslam Bhat and prayed for peace of the deceased.

Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed his condolences over the demise of Haji Muhammad Subhan Bhat.

While extending his sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family especially with Mohammad Aslam prayed for the highest standards in Jannah for the deceased.

Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has condoled the demise. The JKDFP Spokesperson said in a statement that incarcerated party chief Shabir Shah has also expressed solidarity with Mohammad Aslam over the passing away of his father.

JKDFP held a condolence meeting at its office and offered special prayers in favour of the deceased.

While praying for the forgiveness of Haji Mohammad Subhan, JKDFP Spokesperson said in his condolence message that the party stands with Mohammad Aslam Bhat during the present hour of distress.

Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Committee (JKPCC) Vice President and former MLC G N Monga has condoled demise. While conveying his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, he prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased.

CPI (M) leader Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami on Wednesday expresses grief over the and extended sympathies with the bereaved family.

Tarigami extended his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family, especially with KNS Editor-in-Chief Muhammad Aslam Bhat. He termed the deceased as kind and pious soul and said, “I equally share the pain of bereaved family at this hour of grief.”
