SRINAGAR: Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport were disrupted on Friday morning due to poor visibility caused by dense fog in the Kashmir Valley, officials said.
The Director of Srinagar Airport, Javed Anjum, said that the visibility was extremely low, resulting in disruptions to flight operations, with all flights put on hold.
He said that all flights had been delayed. “Flight operations will resume once visibility improves. We are hopeful that flights may be allowed to land and depart in the afternoon or after a few hours,” he said.
Dense fog blanketed the Kashmir Valley from the early morning, causing significant difficulties for commuters due to low visibility. (KNO)
