Several deputations on Monday called on the Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ganai at Circuit House in summer capital Srinagar and apprised him of their grievances.
People put forth their demands pertaining to flood relief, power supply, road connectivity, drug addiction, health and other amenities. The Advisor gave a patient hearing to the projected demands and asked the concerned officers to take adequate measure for time bound redressal of the same. Deputations of daily-wagers of PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control (I&FC), Agriculture, civic bodies, Fire and Emergency service also apprised him of their grievances regarding regularization.
The other deputations who met the Advisor include Rehbre-e-Ziarat Association, Deputation from Irrigation and Flood Control, Rehmatullah Hospital, Anantnag. The Advisor assured them that every possible support will be provided to them by the government.
