K Rajendra, Director General, Prisons, called on NN Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here today.
During the meeting, Rajendra briefed the Governor about certain important issues relating to the adequacy of strength of the existing number of jails in the state and matters relating to the functioning of jails.
This was Rajendra’s first meeting with the Governor after recently taking over as the Director General, Prisons.
