SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Thursday chaired a hybrid operational review meeting with senior officers of the JK Police and Central Armed Police Forces to assess the security situation and operational preparedness across the Union Territory.
Senior officers from various formations of the JK Police and CAPFs participated in the meeting from different locations through the hybrid arrangement, officials said.
The review covered the prevailing security situation, ongoing operational measures and requirements across different parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
Prabhat stressed the need for close coordination between security agencies, effective sharing of intelligence and continued vigilance at the field level, officials said.
He also reviewed the preparedness of different security formations and emphasised maintaining a high level of operational readiness to respond to emerging security challenges.
The participation of senior officers from the JK Police and CAPFs focused on strengthening joint efforts and coordination for maintaining peace and security across the Union Territory, officials said.
