Deputy Inspector General of Police Central Kashmir (DIG CKR ) V.K Birdi-IPS on Thursday interacted with the specially-abled children in an NGO house “Chotay Taray” at Barzulla, Srinagar.
A police spokesperson in a statement said that in his interaction, DIG CKR V.K Birdi appreciated the efforts of “Chotay Taray” NGO for helping the children and their parents in addressing this important issue of our society.
He said V.K Birdi also distributed useful items among the children.
Chairman of NGO Chotay Taray foundation Arjumund Mukhdoomi, thanked DIG CKR and officers of Srinagar Police for their efforts in spending time with the children, he said.
“Among others, SP South City Srinagar Dr G V Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS, SP Headquarters Srinagar Shri Majid Hussain-KPS, SDPO Sadder Srinagar Shabir Khan-KPS were present,” said the spokesman.
