SRINAGAR: In little over a month after being moved to Delhi, the Director General of Sashtra Seema Bal (SSB) has ordered for repatriation of DIG Imtiaz Ismail Parray back to Jammu and Kashmir and posted him at SHQ ((Spl-Ops) SSB Srinagar, JK.
The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, had in the month of October appointed Imtiaz Ismail Parray, a 2009 AGMUT IPS officer, as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) on a deputation basis for a period of five years from the date he assumed charge of the post. He was subsequently moved and posted as DIG FHQ, SSB, New Delhi.
On the other hand, H.B.K Singh, DIG, has been posted at FtR Hqrs SSB Guwahati from his posting at SHQ (Spl-Ops) SSB Srinagar (J&K). Singh’s transfer is conditional to the joining of Imtiaz Ismail Parray at SHQ (Spl-Ops) SSB Srinagar (J&K), reads the order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir Scroll. (KS)
