Dineshwar Sharma, the GoI’s “special representative” is likely to visit south Kashmir’s Pulwama district today, sources said.

Sharma arrived on Friday on a six-day visit to J&K in an effort to pave the way for a sustained dialogue to resolve the Kashmir issue. This is Sharma’s second visit to the state.

According to reports, Sharma, will have interactions with the mainstream party leaders at guest house in Pulwama.

Ahead of his visit, security has been beefed up in the area.

The visit is likely to remain confined to unionist leaders only.

Pertinently Sharma in Jammu met governor, chief minister and some Pandit groups.
