Dineshwar Sharma, Union Special Representative for Dialogue in Jannu and Kashmir, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan Jammu on Wednesday.
Governor and Sharma discussed the political and developmental aspirations of people across the State and a range of issues relating to the internal security situation, and initiatives required for protecting and promoting the educational and career interests of youth.
Governor discussed with Sharma the recent initiatives taken by his administration for ensuring equitable development of the State and bringing accountability and transparency in the administrative setup.
Sharma congratulated Governor for incident free conduct of polls to the Urban Local Bodies and ongoing elections to the Panchayats. They discussed the crucial importance of establishing grass root level democratic institutions for the balanced development of an area.
