The government is distributing a cash relief of Rs 5.50 lakh each, which is part of Prime Ministers’ Developmental Package, among internally and externally displaced families of Jammu and Kashmir.
These include displaced families from Chhamb and Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
Rs 2000 crore have been earmarked in the Prime Minister’s Developmental Package for disbursement as cash relief among these internally and the externally displaced families.
The government will formally roll out the cash relief disbursement process for the internally and externally displaced families of the state in Jammu soon.
