Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Mohammad Ahsan Mir and Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Aijaz Beigh Saturday conducted a surprise check of the district hospital Shopian at around 3:30 in the afternoon and found 19 doctors including medical superintendent of the hospital absent from their duties.
The officers on the spot suspended all the 19 doctors including the medical superintendent.
Meanwhile the duo also conducted a surprise visit to sub district hospital, Keller, Shopian and found 2 doctors absent from their duties. Both the doctors were suspended from their duties.
