Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan has condemned the killing of sarpanch and an employee of the Agriculture department at Hakoora, Budusgam in Anantnag district, today.
“This act has been carried out to deter the activities being carried out under the ambitious Back to Village Program,” Div Com said adding the Back to Village program is aimed to address people’s grievances and address their developmental concerns.
He said that the program witnessed huge public participation on both the days i.e. on November 25 and November 26.
Div Com said that these activities will not stop us from carrying out developmental activities and this program will go with full swing and the officers—deputed under the program are helping people to get their undone works completed.
He further said that the culprits involved in this heinous crime will be brought to justice soon.
