Stressing for providing quality education, the Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon Saturday called upon teaching fraternity for enriching the students with quality and skill oriented education.
The Divisional Commissioner said this while speaking at a function organized by Joint Entrance Trust at Handwara to felicitate the meritorious students of Higher Secondary and Matric who have secured positions in the recent BOSE exams.
MLA Langate, ER Rasheed; Director School Education, Kashmir Dr Shah Feasal; Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Rajiv Ranjan, and other officers were also present on the occasion.
The Divisional Commissioner said that students are the future of our nation and asked teaches to provide quality education besides inculcating moral values among students. He said teachers have pivotal role in shaping the personalities of the students and asked them to put in all out efforts with zeal and dedication for prosperous and better future of students so that they can touch new heights of success besides contributing in nation building.
The Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Rajiv Ranjan and other officers were also present on the occasion.
