In a fire fighting measure, government Friday appointed Mr Shantmanu, Divisional Commissioner Jammu as an inquiry officer to inquire into incidents of violence and arson and the consequent loss of life and property that took place in Kishtwar.
According to the government order No: 1141-GAD of 2013, the inquiry officer shall submit his report to the government within a period of three weeks.
