As per the directions issued by the High Court in the case titled Kashmir Consumer Welfare Forum versus State and Others, the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan on Saturday chaired a meeting with concerned Officers.
The concerned departments were asked to operationalize the parking sites for which permission has been accorded by the High Court.
He directed the SMC authorities to erect Signage at ever crossing in the city.
The Committee constituted for identified the parking sites was asked to identify the parking places and sites in the left out areas of the Srinagar city.
Additional Commissioner Kashmir, VC SDA, SSP Traffic Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Joint Commissioner SMC and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
