Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Tuesday convened a meeting to review the progress of directions of Chief Minister which she made during her visit of Srinagar City.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Officers of R&B, LAWDA, Wakf Board, Tourism, J&K Bank, Cable Car Corporation, SMC, Floriculture, I&FC, SDA, Handicraft, Estates, Sports Council, Youth Services & Sports, JKPCC, JKPDD, Archives, Sericulture and officers of other concerned Departments were present in the meeting.
The meeting discussed in detail Boulevard four-laning, Char Chinari & Sonalank beautification, Cycle track on boulevard, beautification projects of Hazratbal, Jamia Masjid and Khanqahi Moulla, Mini Ropeway from Badamwari to Hariparbhat hills, Facelifting of Bakshi Stadium, Indoor Stadium and Kashmir Golf Club and other projects.
On the occasion, the Div Com was informed that out of total 200 developmental and beautification projects undertaken to revive glory of Srinagar City as many as 109 are being implemented while as work on 22 developmental projects has been partially implemented and 79 are under implementation.
The Divisional commissioner directed the officials to start work in double shifts, wherever required, so that these developmental projects are completed within the stipulated time frame.
