District Magistrate, Budgam Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar on Saturday chaired a meeting of officers of District Level Screening cum Coordination Committee in her office chamber. The meeting was convened to recommend the compensation in favour of the legal heirs of deceased, victims of militancy-related, law and order and other civil commotion incidents.
During the meeting, 04 out of a total of 05 cases put up before the committee was recommended for ex-gratia relief, compassionate appointments under SRO 243 and cash in lieu.
DM while speaking on the occasion told the concerned to expedite ongoing investigation early and accordingly put up cases before the committee.
The meeting was also attended by ADDC, ADC and other concerned members of the police, CRPF.
