District Magistrate Ramban Mohammad Aijaz Tuesday imposed section 144 Cr. Pc on Jammu- Srinagar highway in the district.
This according to spokesman has been done in the wake of protests and slogan raising by people on the highway thereby leading to blockade of vehicular movement and creating hardships for public in general and students in particular.
The Senior Superintendent of Police is executing the order which shall remain in force till February 15, 2017.
The order puts restrictions on assembly of four or more persons on highway who intend to hold protests and raising slogans.
