In view of law and order situation and to avoid breach of peace and tranquility and damage to life and property, District Magistrate, Srinagar, Baseer Ahmad Khan has imposed restrictions on the movement of public and transport under Section 144 Cr. P.C in the jurisdiction of eleven police stations of district Srinagar.
The areas under police stations Rainawari, Khanyar Nowhatta, Safa Kadal, SR Gunj, Zadibal, Soura, Maisuma, Kralkhud, Shaheed Gunj and Batmaloo of district Srinagar will be under restrictions from midnight February 21, 2013 with immediate effect till further orders.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Srinagar has been directed to implement this order.
Meanwhile, District Magistrate Budgam, Khurshid Ahmad Shah has imposed restrictions under Section 144 Cr. P.C on February 22, 2013 from 6 am in district Budgam.
SSP, Budgam has been directed to implement this order.
