SRINAGAR: Doda police on Saturday distributed 50 crash helmets among the bikers to develop the sense of awareness among bikers in the district. This was done under its Civic Action Programme (CAP).
Media outlets reported that police party headed by SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir, distributed as many as 50 helmets among the young commuters who were found driving without helmets.
Youth of the area among whom helmets were distributed also pledged that they will spread the awareness of the use of helmets and even will follow traffic rules themselves.
