Several delegations on Tuesday called on the incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah at his Sanat Nagar residence.

Shabir Ahmad Shah while interacting with delegations stressed on the need to create mass awareness about election boycott and the anti-movement policies of pro-India politicians in the state.

Shah hailed the sacrifices of the people of Pulwama, Shopian, and Tral during the ongoing Intifada. He asked delegations to spread the word that “we won’t forget those innocent children who were martyred, blinded, and maimed by the state government”.

Commenting on resistance leadership’s endeavours towards finding a justifiable solution to the Kashmir dispute, Shah said, “We are moving towards our goal with the support of people and need of the hour is to exhibit consistency and steadfastness”.

Reacting to the election preparations started by the puppet administration, Shah said we must start anti-election campaign and aware people of the hidden agendas behind such exercise. “The main aim of these elections is to strengthen India’s forcible occupation of Jammu Kashmir,” he said.
