National Conference leader in a statement said, “ it is sad and unfortunate that at this juncture when people are fighting Corona Pandemic, economy have been badly shattered and youth have lost jobs and farmers and Labour are facing unprecedented hardships due to crop failure and moreover poor marketing. The government instead of giving any economic solace to the common people have overburdened the common people.”

“it is quite an injustice, common people will be crushed under this heavy unprecedented hike in public transport fare, if the government was interested to compensate Transporters, it should have subsidised the 30% fare,” Sadhotra said.

Sadhotra asked the government not to overburden common people and demanded that Govt should bear the extra burden of 30% fare hike in public transport itself.

He also demanded that Govt should give special economic solace by to Kisans, youth, Labour, small-time traders so that they could make both ends meet, by cash transfer.
