SRINAGAR: The All Jammu and Kashmir Oil Tankers Association on Tuesday called off their strike after the government accepted their demands.

“The government has agreed to accept our demands, hence we have decided to call off our ten day strike from today,” said an oil tanker association representative.

He said that there is no shortage of Petroleum products across Jammu and Kashmir.

“It is being humbly requested in the public interest that there is absolutely no need of panic buying,” he added.

Long queues were seen outside petrol pumps as people were desperate to get their vehicles refilled.
