Clashes broke out between the protestors and government forces in Dooru area of Islamabad on Saturday following the encounter between the government forces and militants.

Reports said that hundreds of youth shouting pro-freedom and anti-governmental slogans assembled near the encounter site and pelted government forces with stones.

Sources said that forces deployed in the village fired tear smoke shells to disperse the protesters.

Reports also said that clashes have been also started in Dialgam area, twenty kilometres from the encounter site Police resorted to the aerial firing to disperse the protestors.

Pertinent to mention, two militants were killed on Saturday morning during an encounter between the government forces and militants in Shistergam, Dooru area of Islamabad district.
