Around a dozen National Hydro Power Project (NHPC) daily wagers were injured in North Kashmir’s Uri late Thursday evening.

“Around 10-15 daily wagers of NHPC Uri-I Gingal were injured this evening when police used force to disperse protesting daily wagers,” Tufail Hussain, General Secretary Trash Worker Union NHPC Uri-I, said.
“These daily wagers were holding peaceful protest from past one month demanding regularization of their services,” he added.
There was no immediate official comment on it.
