DPS Srinagar Excels in CBSE Class 12 Results, Abdullah Bin Zubair Tops With 99 Percent

   

SRINAGAR: Delhi Public School Srinagar recorded an outstanding performance in the CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations, with students across streams achieving remarkable results and reinforcing the institution’s reputation for academic excellence.

Leading the achievers was Abdullah Bin Zubair, who secured an exceptional 99 percent aggregate to emerge as the school topper. Abdullah combined Humanities with Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, reflecting an interdisciplinary academic approach increasingly gaining relevance in modern education.

Expressing gratitude over his achievement, Abdullah said, “First and foremost, I thank Almighty Allah for this achievement. I am also truly grateful to my teachers, my school, my grandparents, my parents, and my brother, as none of this would have been possible without their constant support.”

Highlighting the importance of Humanities in contemporary education, he added, “As a humanities student, this means a great deal to me, and I hope it reflects that the humanities is far more relevant today than it is often given credit for. It helps us ask the right questions about the world around us. Alongside my humanities subjects, I also opted for Computer Science and AI, and I have personally found it fascinating how the two connect. I feel there is something wonderful at that intersection worth exploring.”

In the Commerce stream, Zarmeen Khan secured the second position with 96.8 percent. Her performance reflected consistent academic discipline and conceptual clarity developed through focused study and engagement with practical applications of classroom learning.

Ayra Umar secured the third rank with 96.6 percent in the Humanities stream. Stressing the importance of perseverance in academic success, Ayra said, “Success in exams is not about intelligence alone; it is about consistency, discipline, and pressure-handling.”

The overall performance of the batch remained impressive, with thirty students scoring above 90 percent in the examinations.

Principal of the school, Shafaq Afshan, congratulated the students and faculty on the achievement. She said the results reflected the intellectual maturity and scholarly discipline of the students.

“The Class 12 results this year represent more than mere statistical success because they reflect the profound intellectual maturity of our students. We have witnessed a generation of learners who view academic rigor as a pathway to purpose rather than a destination in itself,” she said.

Chairman Vijay Dhar said the achievements reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to nurturing capable and responsible future leaders.

“These achievements reinforce our institutional mission to produce reflective and capable leaders who are prepared for the complexities of the future. The outstanding performance across diverse streams highlights the success of our holistic educational philosophy,” he said.
