Prominent paediatrician of Jammu and Kashmir Dr Daljit Singh passed away at Narayana Hospital, Jammu on Friday after a brief illness.
Singh was born in village Dardapora Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to close family sources, Singh breathed his last on Friday at 11.10 am at Jammu hospital.
They said late Singh’s cremation will be held at 5 pm Saturday in Karan Nagar area
Meanwhile, Sardar Chanan Singh Sasan, member of Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee village Dardpora Kreeri told Kashmir Life over Phone that the death of Singh is a big loss not only to the Sikh community but for whole Kashmir.
“He will be always remembered for his services to the community and the people of Kashmir,” said Chanan Singh Sasan.
