SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah returned to Srinagar on Sunday after completing the sacred Umrah pilgrimage.

Dr Abdullah was welcomed with warmth and enthusiasm by party functionaries, supporters, and well-wishers who gathered at his residence to greet him upon his return.
Expressing gratitude, Dr Abdullah thanked Allah for granting him the privilege of undertaking the spiritually enriching journey. Reflecting on his prayers during the pilgrimage, he shared that he had sought divine guidance in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“I prayed for lasting peace, progress, and unity in our region. These are essential for addressing the challenges we face and building a brighter future for everyone. Collective efforts are key to achieving these goals,” Dr Abdullah said.
