National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah have expressed grief over incidents of loss of life due to landslides and land-sinking in Doda and Uri.
“I convey my deepest condolences with the bereaved families over this loss. The State Government should dispense immediate ex-gratia relief in favor of the affected families and ensure the prevention of such mishaps in areas where the incessant rainfall has created similar circumstances”, NC President Dr. Farooq Abdullah said.
NC Working President Omar Abdullah while conveying his deepest condolences with the bereaved families has demanded ex-gratia relief for the affected families.
Senior NC Leaders, MLA Uri Mohammad Shafi Uri and MLC Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo have also expressed grief and sorrow over these mishaps and asked the administration to release ex-gratia relief in favour of the victims’ families.
