SRINAGAR:  Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President, Dr Farooq Abdullah, and Vice President, Omar Abdullah, conveyed their warm wishes to the public on the significant occasion of Shab-e-Qadr.

Dr Farooq Abdullah, in his message, emphasised the sanctity of this blessed night, urging individuals to seek divine blessings and uphold virtues of compassion, piety, and duty. “It is this unique and holy night when Almighty Allah chose to reveal the Holy Quran to Prophet Muhammad (SAW) for the guidance of mankind.”

Omar Abdullah, in a separate message, encouraged spending the night in prayer and seeking forgiveness and blessings from Allah.

Both Dr Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah wished prosperity and peace for the people, offering prayers for their well-being and welfare.

Additionally, they extended felicitations to devotees on the occasion of the Urs of the revered Sufi Saint, Alamdar-e-Kashmir, Hazrat Sheikh Noor-ud-din Noorani (RA), highlighting his teachings as a guiding light for the state’s rich traditions of Sufism and spirituality.

Party leaders including General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shammi Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani Sogami, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, along with Political Advisors to the President and Vice President, Mushtaq Guroo and Mudassar Shahmiri, and State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, also extended their greetings on this auspicious occasion.
