National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Thrusday visited Khanqah-e-Moalla in Old City Srinagar in wake of yesterday’s blaze that left the main minaret of the Khanqah completely damaged.
Farooq expressed shock and sorrow over the damage caused to the shrine by the fire incident .
He took stock of the damage caused to Kashmir’s venerated spiritual centre and asked the administration for immediate restoration of Khanqah.
MLA Khanayar Ali Mohd Sagar and other members of the party accompanied him.
