It was probably for the first time when father son duo, union minister and National Conference patron Dr Farooq Abdullah and his son Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah are in valley, but only Omar was seen in Dargah Hazratbal to offer Eid prayers.
Sources say that Dr Farooq is not well and is confined to his Srinagar residence.
Meanwhile on his visit to Dargah Hazratbal, Omar exchanged Eid greetings with the people and conveyed his wishes to them.
The Chief Minister also prayed for peace, development and prosperity of the State and the Country. He expressed the hope that while celebrating Eid, people will not forget the needy and share happiness with them.
