SRINAGAR: Dr Mir Muqtasid Ahmed Kamili, the former Head of the Department of Medicine at SMHS Hospital, passed away on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
Dr Kamili, aged 70, had been battling various health issues for the past few months. He breathed his last at SMHS Hospital, Srinagar.
According to family sources, his Nimazi Jinazah will be offered today on the 31st of March (Sunday) at 2:30 pm at Khanqahi Moula, Srinagar.
Thereafter, he will be laid to rest at the ancestral graveyard inside Aastana Mir Syed Mohi-ud-Din Mehdi R A at Pandan, Nowhatta.
