SRINAGAR: A truck driver hailing from Gurdaspur area of Punjab died after he met with an accident at the Food Corporation of India (FCI) godown at Jatwal area of Samba.

Quoting police officials news agency KNO reported that a truck loaded with ration was parked in FCI godown at Jatwal Samba when slipped on the road and driver identified as Rajinder Singh of Gurdaspur Punjab, trying to stop the vehicle got stuck between two vehicles and died on the spot.

The body of the deceased was later taken into possession while further legal formalities have been started, police said.
