SRINAGAR: The body of a 22-year-old youth, who drowned in the Dhandak river in the Surankote area of Poonch district, was recovered after 22 hours of search operations, officials said here on Monday.
A police official said that the body of the youth, identified as Shafqat Hussain, son of Kabir Hussain from Dhandak Lindi, was recovered after 22 hours of search.
He said the young man drowned while taking a bath in the river. Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation.(NVI)
